Open Position — C# .NET Developer

Thought Studio is looking for a C# .NET Developer! This is a great opportunity to be a part of something BIG! You will be designing, developing and maintaining our world class software solutions. Our Digital Workplace Solution is a suite of products that encompasses Digital Signage, Room Booking and Visitor Management.

Your responsibilities will include :

  • Design and develop software with a high degree of quality, in a timely manner
  • Develop user solutions that are intuitive, easy-to-use, and not cluttered
  • Utilise agile methodologies and test-driven development techniques
  • Pragmatically balance “desire to create perfect solutions” against “just-ship-it urgency”
  • Work independently of day to day supervision to achieve all goals and objectives
  • Support transition of new products, product enhancements and product fixes to existing customers
  • Create and/or maintain technical product documentation
  • Proactively maintain professional and technical knowledge
  • Communicate effectively with internal team members and external customers
  • Provide technical expertise and recommendations both in verbal and written forms
  • Identify opportunities to improve current processes and technology stack
  • Mentor and support less tenured development team members
  • Perform other development tasks as directed

Open Position — Technical Support Officer

Thought Studio is looking for a technical support officer, supporting our clients is of the highest priority, therefore we are looking for someone who not only has the chops to support our world class product, but more importantly, can liaise with our clients to provide first level support in a timely and professional manner.

Your responsibilities will include :

  • Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications
  • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
  • Talk clients through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the phone, to help set up systems or resolve issues
  • Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
  • Replace parts as required
  • Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
  • Follow diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system
  • Support the roll-out of new applications
  • Respond within agreed time limits to call-outs
  • Work continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate)
  • Prioritise and manage many open cases at one time
  • Rapidly establish a good working relationship with customers and other professionals, such as software developers
  • Test and evaluate new technology
